In our world today,
personality greatly affects almost every
aspect of one's daily life. How you walk, how you talk, how you dress, every bit of what you do is scrutinized by the ever judging eyes of
other people. But looks is most noticeable of all. Individuals with good looks, nice clothes and well-endowed physiques are the ones who gain so much attention. Wherever they go, they easily get along with others because almost everybody wants to gel with them. It's just like
a bit of sugar that ants quickly swarm about because it's sweet. But how about the ones who are not so well endowed with fair, beautiful skin, banging bodies and to-die-for good looks? This case happens mostly among women. This is not to generally speak but it happens a lot that between a frail-looking girl and a sexy, fair-skinned beauty, many would consider the second one as smartest of the two without regards as to who really is. The frail one is then presumed as gullible. That is an example of judging by looks. Or should I say, judging a book by its cover. Sometimes even how you dress is being paid attention to. And if you don't have a lot of money to spend on clothes, then you just have to endure the unkind remarks of those people who are quick to criticize but does not know how to understand before doing so. But then, almost perfect looks also has its downfall. Take celebrities for example. They always look dolled-up with make up and are fabulously dressed, but when some people see them without make up and just donning a simple outfit, these people are quick to notice their not-so-perfect nose and complexion and criticizes them for it. Proof that looks still matter for most people. We criticize too much. :/
